It was an evening of fun and her first train ride to Lagos and back home for 18-year old Toyin Aderibigbe who attends Doveseal College, Ondo state on the 1st of October, 2021. Toyin is one of the 300 vulnerable children that the Oladiran Olusegun Adebutu Foundation caters for in Ogun state and other parts of Nigeria. She was well assisted on the trip by one of our community care volunteers Barrister Dayo Adebisi.
The Vesta Orchestra is helping to change the lives of musicians by providing a performance stage for young, incredibly talented Africans pursuing careers in Performing Arts. It was founded by a group of musicians who saw the need to establish a world class orchestra, that would showcase the great talent available in Nigeria and Africa at large.
On performance at the concert that evening were a number of interesting works by Nigerian composers.
Special thanks to the British Council in Nigeria for this great opportunity.
