OOAF Receives Award for Outstanding Service to Humanity from Hospitals for Humanity

As part of efforts to fight congenital heart diseases by providing life-saving surgeries for vulnerable Nigerian children, the Hospitals for Humanity has conferred on the Chairman of Oladiran Olusegun Adebutu Foundation, Mr Oladiran Olusegun Adebutu, the Distinguished Citizens Humanitarian Award in recognition of his contribution towards Saving Little Hearts.

The award was presented at the first edition of the Saving Little Hearts Gala and Awards night by Hospitals for Humanity (HfH) held in Abuja on May 27, 2022. Also recognized was the Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation, Ms Kemi Sokenu-Morris among several other notable Nigerians.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Founder of OOAF was Finance and Special Projects head, Mr Akinola Oludolapo and HR/Admin head, Ms Bisola Ikusagba who were presented with the awards by Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim.

The Hospitals for Humanity’s Saving Little Hearts initiative is a program designed to raise awareness about CHDs and effectively carry out time limited and cost effective, pediatric cardiothoracic surgical by opening the first-ever free Pediatric Cardiac hospital in Africa targeting 150 Nigerian children each year who are in dire need of free open heart surgery.
