Joseph Onokpe

Joseph Onokpe is a graduate of the University of Ibadan where he obtained his B.Sc in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering in 2015. In university, he was involved in humanitarian services, which helped in building his expertise.

He started his career as an agric. volunteer with Women for Peace and Gender Equality Initiative in Ogun State, where he worked with small-scale farmers and families to increase production, improve food security, and adapt to climate change effects while promoting environmental conservation practices.

In 2015, during his National Youth Service Corps service, he worked with Family Care Co-operative Farms where he served as the farm manager in Imo state. Alongside, he worked as sales representative of Fass Karamson Investment Limited in Owerri and also established a branch of the company in Owerri.

After his service year in May 2016, he joined Women for Peace and Gender Equality initiative once again as the monitoring and evaluating officer for the organisation. He left in June 2016 to join Oladiran Olusegun Adebutu Foundation, where he is currently serving as the project assistant. Joseph has earned certifications in-line with his expertise, including project management and ESRx (Energy Subsidy Reform), IMFx, an online learning initiative of the International Monetary Fund through EdX.
